Fandom Phenomena

You see guys, 's my first post and I'm starting with something that I could write a book about. I'm not saying that I have such skills, but yeah, that's worth a book, or at least an article in the most popular newspaper. Actually, I think I've seen something like this once, or twice but didn't bother myself to read it.

Some of you know, some of you don't, but I have to start from that point anyway. What is a fandom? It's easy to remember - fandom is a group of fans expressing their admiration by creating art, music, cosplays, etc.
Well, a fandom can be build around absolutely everything - that's the most important thing as some of you've realised by wandering throughout the internet.
For example, here is a group on dA made for a fandom based on 2 popular music videos (maybe, just maybe, I'm occasionally a member).
Here are these videos by the way:

I know it might seem crazy to be keen on a story that's not even completly explained, but that's the charm of being in a fandom - you can clearly see there's much much more people like you and you can even chat with them about that, You can also find friends there, or find out your boss likes the same things. *wink*

The most popular areas for fandoms to meet are convent's places.

Yes, I had to write that down here. It's probably the most popular destination for any fandom. Mostly because you can show everybody your amazing cosplay you've made few weeks ago, or sell something interesting. There's also a lot of meetings, some of these in boardrooms, where you can listen to the creators of your fandom, or people who've made the thing your fellas are keen on.

As you can see, there are a lot of ways for you to shine in your fandoms, but there are also bad things about being in a fandom. It's like supporting a football team and shouting it's name in all hail and glory while everybody's watching. You have to be careful with that, because there exist people, who may do not like your fandom.

My opinion?
Heh, guys, I love being in any fandom, I love sharing things with my new friends, I love cosplayers, I love everything about fandoms! Even if we all have few arguments with others sometimes, I love it anyway!
But hey, a life in a fandom isn't everything.

Well, that's all I have to say for now.

I guess we're all in a Spaghetti Fandom, right?

Spaghetti fandom
is
the most powerful fandom
on Earth
